FROM THE FISHING CAMP: OUR FALL CAMPING FAVORITES
In South Louisiana, it finally dropped below 85 degrees.
Fall has entered the chat.
Hereās what actually gets packed when weāre headed to the camp.
A quick heads up: The links below are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you purchase through them. Everything on this list is gear we actually use. For real, for true.
TURTLEBOX AUDIO RANGER
Margaret gave Bradley the Audio Ranger for Fatherās Day last year, and it quickly became one of our favorites. Itās the perfect size, waterproof, sounds awesome, and the magnetic sides mean we can hang it right on the golf cart. We use ours constantly.
We even made a playlist for it.
GCI OUTDOOR FREESTYLE ROCKER
A good buddy gave us these before an RV camping trip to Colorado a few years ago, and weāve been ruined ever since. Theyāre SO comfortable. Super sturdy. The perfect hang-around-camp chair.
Once you go rocker, you canāt go back. We actually include these with the Arcadia Camper, so feel free to try them out when you stay with us.
YETI HOPPER
The perfect-size ice chest for packing drinks, groceriesāor fillets of fish. Bradley doesnāt head to the camp without it. Groceries on the way down. Fish on the way back. :)
10/10 recommend.
IāM ON VACATION YETI TUMBLER
Keeps coffee hot. Keeps everything else cold. Says Iām on Vacation.
Itās basically our emotional support cup.
SOLO STOVE
We donāt have permanent fire rings at our RV sites, so when the weather cools down, and we want a fire at camp, this is what we use.
Easy setup. Easy cleanup. Maximum camp.
SKIN SO SOFT
If the wind is down and the gnats are out, youāll be very glad you packed it.
If you know, you know.
BETTER BREADER
Technically, this is called the Better Breader, but we call it the Shake and Bake. This bad boy came down the Mississippi River with us. To say we love it is an understatement.
Fresh fish. Mustard. Fish fry. Peanut oil. Shake and bake. Thatās it.
GLADLY FAMILY WAGON
Going anywhere with three kids is no easy feat. But with this, we can load them up and hit the trail. Itās heavy-duty enough for rocks or sand, and comfortable enough that the kids feel like theyāre on an adventure. We have taken it to the mountains, beach, festivals, parkāyou name it.
Fair warning: this wagon is BIG. Plan accordingly.
Good gear. Good music. Good place to sit. And thatās all, folks.
CAMP. FISH. VACATION. REPEAT.
